South Carolina has focused intentionally on building awareness, understanding, and readiness for quantum science and technology (QIST). That work helped establish shared language, informed partners, and aligned institutions across the state. 

SC Quantum has completed its role as a convening organization. Its work continues through the projects and partnerships it helped bring together. The current phase reflects a deliberate shift from advocacy to action, and from preparation to execution, through focused, project-driven efforts anchored at South Carolina’s research universities. 

We will continue to share updates, research context, and perspectives through this site and our LinkedIn presence as the work progresses.
