The purpose of this report is to lay the groundwork for South Carolina's vision to advance the southeast region's leadership in quantum, and drive coordination and collaboration endeavors to secure funding and integrate quantum technologies into the state's ecosystem by 2030.
This report:
- Provides an assessment of South Carolina’s current and potential innovation capacity in quantum technology
- Provides an inventory of critical quantum technology assets in the state and the broader national and international context around quantum technology; and
- identifies key focus areas for the state moving forward that leverage the assets and potential of quantum technologies.
