<50%

Without significant interventions, it's projected that less than 50% of quantum computing jobs will be filled by 2025. -McKinsey

Students in a classroom at Clemson University, overlaid with a diagram of Shor's Algorithm and campus imagery, representing a project focused on training in learning in NISQ hardware and software systems.

This initiative builds on Clemson University's foundational quantum computing course to provide hands-on, project-based training for students across disciplines. Spanning six projects, the curriculum focuses on both system-level and programming-level aspects of quantum computing. The program aims to cultivate capable quantum programmers, broaden participation, and eventually evolve into a certificate and degree-granting program.

Addition Information

Led by Dr. Rong Ge of the School of Computing, Clemson University, the project builds on institutional strengths in computing education and seeks to expand quantum computing training opportunities statewide.
